I hold a Ph.D in electrical engineering and I was professor for communication theory and digital signal processing at the University of Applied Sciences, Northwestern Switzerland . Later, I was the head of the electrical and electronic engineering department and then dean of education of the school of engineering. Since 2022 I am retired.
